hasifria takes your information and privacy very seriously. The following is a description of what we do and donít do with your details.

Information you provide us

To process your order we need information such as your name, email or contact number, delivery address and payment details. Other information will also be collected with your permission from time to time.

How do we use information provided to us?

Information that you have provided us will be used in three ways:

  • to enhance your shopping experience
  • to communicate new products and services, and from time to time the opportunity to take up special promotions or offers. You have the option to opt-out of this communication by replying to the communication with an unsubscribe message or to change your preferences through your account details
  • to generate a holistic but anonymous view of the hasifria.com.au customer base - this information allows us to analyse trends and demographics, helping us improve the services provided.

Disclosing your information

We will not sell or give away our membership database. On some occasions, we will need to share the information contained in the database and here is a list of those instances:

  • Partners: Third party companies and individuals will be engaged to perform functions on behalf of hasifria. Functions such as credit card payment authorisation, trend analysis, marketing and promotions. All information will only be used to perform their appropriate functions and not for other usage.
  • Authorities: We will pass on any information relating to suspected fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities.
  • Verification of members: We use various details to verify information given to us by our members. At times, we use:
    • names on member accounts to compare with information on credit cards
    • member phone numbers and email addresses provided to us to communicate with you about payments (if required)
    • member addresses to check against credit card billing addresses.
  • Lost login and password details: All information is kept private. You may forget details such as your password. We do not distribute these either via telephone or email. You are informed of your "password reminder" rather than the actual password being given out.

All information is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software. Information sitting on the site is protected by encryption and firewall technology.

Accessing your information

Personal information provided by you can be viewed and changed by you if information provided is incorrect or out of date. hasifria.com.au provides you with tools to manage your information and personal details.

Sign out or close your browser once you have finished shopping within the site. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence.

membership

A hasifria member may not have more than one active membership. If you breach this condition, you may be liable for the recovery of any benefits obtained this way, such as gift vouchers, promotional benefits and the value therein.

Membership accounts are non-transferable. You may update, edit or terminate your membership account at any time. You agree to maintain and update the information you have supplied to ensure accuracy at all times.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own membership account and password. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that occur under your membership account and password.

General policy

You or the recipient of an order may return an item that has been purchased from hasifria.com.au because you have changed your mind or are unhappy with a gift. However, please note, this excludes sale items.

We have a 14 day money back return policy. All you have to do to arrange everything is contact us to receive a return authorisation number and instructions on where to send your return. In order to receive a full refund, your return shipment package must be postmarked within 14 days of the date you received your shipment.

Please understand that we can only accept items for return or exchange that are in their original/resaleable condition, have not had their plastic wrap or seals broken, and have received a return authorisation number from us. Any items returned dirty, washed, used, or with plastic wraps or seals broken will not be eligible for refund and will be returned to you.

Shipping costs are not refundable. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective.

If you return goods via a post office, please keep the appropriate proof of return. Otherwise, if the returned item goes missing in transit to us, we will deem you not to have returned the item.

It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit.

Returning gifts

If you decide you would like to exchange a product that you ordered or that you received as a gift, the same rules apply as those above for returns. The item must be in the original/resaleable condition and has not had its plastic wrap or seal broken, and you will get a credit for the product price only (shipping costs will not be refunded). Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping as well as new shipping charges to receive the desired products (unless the product is damaged or defective).

In the event of a return by you or the recipient of a gift, we will exchange or refund in the form of a hasifria gift voucher. However, you will pay the delivery costs of the return to hasifria.com.au and re-delivery to you. We will not refund initial delivery, wrapping and other fees.

Returns and refunds of items paid for by gift vouchers

For gifts purchased using a hasifria.com.au gift voucher (or any part thereof), the amount paid by gift vouchers will be refunded in the form of a hasifria gift voucher, and the remaining amount will be refunded via the original method of payment.

Please note all products that are found to be non-defective will incur the delivery costs of returning the item to hasifria.com.au.

Returning products purchased in conjunction with a promotion

Products that were purchased in conjunction with a promotion and were subsequently delivered with a free gift, must be returned with that free gift (in its original/resaleable condition and with its plastic wrap or seal not broken) to receive a full refund for the original item purchased. If the original item is returned without the free gift, the value of the gift will be charged to you via the original payment method.

Goods damaged or faulty on delivery

Where possible, we will check all items before we send them to you. All products will be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.

If a product arrives at your door damaged, broken or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible, or ship out a new product completely at our expense. Simply contact us and we will do whatever is possible to sort things out.

Except where required by law, you must return damaged goods within 14 days of receipt.

In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, delivery, wrapping and other fees via the original method of payment. Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will dispatch your replacement item (subject to availability) once we receive the return, at our cost.

cdís & dvdís

It is most unusual for a cd or dvd to be faulty in any way when manufactured. There are rare instances of faulty batches that usually result in product recalls. Quite often the cause of faults or damage is due to discs that have been handled incorrectly (ie fingerprints or scratches on the read surface, discs forcibly removed from their casing causing cracks). cdís and dvdís damaged through improper handling will not be refunded or replaced.

Please note that our dvdís are produced offshore and will in the most part be Zone 2 (Middle East / Europe). Some dvdís may be Zone 1 (US). Australia is a Zone 4 country. dvdís that canít be played because your dvd player does not recognise zones outside of Australia will not be considered damaged or faulty and will not be able to be returned to us. Please check your dvd player before you place your order. If you have in fact ordered a dvd and realised that it wonít work on your player, do not break the plastic wrap or seal so you can return the product.

Credit and return time

Depending on where you are located, it can take anywhere between 2 -10 business days (on average) for us to receive the returned or exchanged product back from you. Within 72 hours of receiving the item and required return authorisation, you will receive an e-mail that confirms the arrangement/refund. All refunds granted are for the purchase price of the product only. If you have paid by credit card, refunds can only be issued to the credit card used at purchase.
